Note to Buyers
We follow the standards set by the American Kennel Club, (AKC), and the Labrador Retriever Club, (LRC), when it comes to the dilute or "silver" gene. Any labrador carrying the dilute gene is considered by both the AKC and the LRC to not be purebred. We test for, and will not breed a lab that carries the dilute gene.
Our Labradors
At East Deep River Farm we love our Labradors. They are a part of our family. Because we love our dogs we want them to be happy and healthy, so all of our adult dogs are tested for genetic conditions. In order to be considered for breeding, their elbows and hips must pass OFA certification. In addition to breeding for their health we also breed for temperament and intelligence. If you are looking for a dog ready for the show ring, eager to hunt in the fields, or keen to lounge on the couch look no further than our wonderful family.
